Job description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support the testing and quality validation of multiple enterprise applications and technology platforms.

The role will primarily focus on manual testing activities while also providing support for automation testing initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong testing fundamentals, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Development, Product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

• Prepare, review, and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects through closure.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure application stability prior to release.
• Participate in requirement reviews and test planning activities.
• Ensure adequate test coverage across multiple projects and releases.

Automation Support

• Understand and execute basic automation test scripts.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Quality & Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Development, and Business teams to understand requirements and validate expected outcomes.
• Participate in test status reporting and defect triage discussions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Manual Testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
• Basic knowledge of Automation Testing concepts.
• Basic understanding of Java programming.
• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver.
• Understanding of Maven project structure and dependency management.
• Basic knowledge of Eclipse IDE.
• Familiarity with TestNG framework.
• Ability to understand and work with existing automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience
