Job summary

A leading technology firm in transportation seeks a QA Engineer to develop and maintain automation scripts using C#. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Develop and maintain UI and API automation scripts using C#.
• Utilize .NET with Playwright for automation tasks whenever applicable.
• Implement async programming concepts effectively in automation scripts.
• Follow the software testing life cycle to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Jenkins/TeamCity for continuous integration.
• Employ version control using GitHub for managing automation scripts.
• Participate actively in Agile methodology, including Scrum ceremonies.
• Apply domain knowledge, especially in the logistics domain, to enhance testing strategies.
• Utilize cloud platforms, preferably GCP, for testing purposes.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and ensure API endpoints meet functional requirements.
• Lead the setup and maintenance of automation scripts in CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on automation best practices.

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Selenium-based test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge in C# coding for Selenium-based test automation frameworks
• Good understanding of OOPS concepts.
• Strong hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, QTP, and RFT
• Experience testing APIs and web services.
