Job summary

Ditto Insurance in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced QA professional to drive testing across manual and automated streams. You will design test cases, implement automation scripts, and ensure API and UI quality.

The role requires strong Java debugging, hands-on Selenium/Playwright, and collaboration with developers and product teams. Office-based interview process will be conducted at Ditto's Bengaluru office.

Requirement : Minimum 5+ years experience mandatory in similar field and should take the interview from the office (Bengaluru)

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze software requirements and estimate testing efforts for both manual and automation activities.
• Build, execute, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, and Postman.
• Perform API testing and automation using Postman and related tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Organize and participate in review meetings with QA leads to discuss progress, challenges, and improvements.
• Continuously enhance test automation frameworks to improve efficiency, reliability, and coverage.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

• Hands-on expertise in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience analyzing software requirements.
• Proficient in Java programming with strong debugging skills.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail, test craftsmanship, and code quality.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a quick learner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub
• Exposure to performance testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of defect and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
