Job summary

Ryan LLC in Hyderabad is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure software quality across the IT Applications Team. This role combines manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality and compliance with Ryan standards.

You will design and execute test plans, document bugs in Jira, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Two to three years of QA experience and a Bachelor's in Information Systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of hands-on QA/issue documentation experience.
• Experience with SQL is a plus.

This includes the use of both manual and automated testing to ensure that software not only functions as the end user expects but also that software is in compliance with Ryan standards.**Duties and responsibilities,** **as they align to Ryan’s Key Results****People:*** Create a positive team member experience.* Provides feedback to Business Analysts to ensure that requirements are clear and specific enough to convey the needs of the business.**Client:*** Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.**Value:*** Develops, executes and maintains test plans* Reads and translates requirements into meaningful manual and automated test cases* Executes test plans and provides meaningful feedback on results* Works with Application developers to resolve issues and document bugs* Use Jira to document issues and enhancements in the appropriate manner* Maintains a schedule of testing across multiple software applications to ensure prompt feedback to developers* Develops and maintains documentation for all testing activities* Assumes responsibility for the quality and compliance with standards and requirements for all Ryan applications* Alerts the Product team to potential issues in a constant feedback loop* Performs other duties as needed and assigned* Regression testing of the applications during the application release.**Education and Experience**:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems is preferred or equivalent work experience. Two to three years of hands-on administration experience with Software Quality Assurance and issue documentation.**Computer Skills:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong analytical skills; strong oral and written communication skills; and excellent customer service skills and attitude.
