Job summary

Aspire is seeking a detail-oriented QA professional to own quality reviews across Onboarding and FinCrime processes, ensuring KYC/CDD decisions are accurate, complete and AML-compliant. You will help design AI-assisted QC solutions, surface error patterns, and drive improvements in accuracy and compliance.

The role focuses on auditing data collection, due diligence, and decision trails, collaborating with Onboarding, Compliance, and FinCrime teams to scale quality as Aspire grows across markets.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in quality assurance, KYC/CDD, AML or financial crime operations, ideally within fintech or financial services.
• Working knowledge of AML/KYC and sanctions screening requirements, with the judgement to assess whether a decision is sound.
• Strong analytical skills, with an eye for patterns behind errors and the ability to trace them to a root cause.
• Data crunching, strong Excel / Google Sheets, clear written English for QC reports.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to give structured, constructive feedback to team leads.
• Meticulous attention to detail and comfort working with scoring rubrics, frameworks and audit trails.
• Has a strong grasp of artificial intelligence concepts and the ability to apply AI tools (e.g. Claude, n8n, etc.) and frameworks to solve real‑world problems at Aspire.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end QC reviews of KYC/KYB onboarding and FinCrime cases (CDD, screening, fraud), handled by analysts and AI agents, against SOPs, risk frameworks and AML/KYC and sanctions screening requirements.
• Check that data collection and verification are accurate and complete, and that enhanced due diligence on higher-risk clients shows sound judgement and a full audit trail.
• Investigate escalations, near-misses and recurring errors to support root cause analysis.
• Identify where AI can solve QC problems (scoring, anomaly flagging, SOP checks, exception triage), contribute to prompt design and testing, and track AI accuracy.
• Analyse quality trends, give structured feedback to Onboarding and FinCrime team leads, recommend SOP and training updates, and support calibration sessions.
• Report on QC scores, error rates and trends, maintain QC frameworks, scoring rubrics and audit trails, and keep QC criteria current with AML and KYC regulatory changes.

About The Role

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented person to own quality reviews across Aspire’s Onboarding and FinCrime teams. You’ll check that KYC and CDD decisions are accurate, complete and compliant with AML standards. The role goes beyond case auditing: you’ll help design and refine AI‑assisted QC solutions, surface the patterns behind errors, and drive improvements in accuracy and compliance.

About The Team

Aspire’s Quality team makes sure the work that keeps customers safe and Aspire compliant is accurate and consistent. We review Onboarding and FinCrime operations (KYC/CDD, Screening, Fraud), the first line of defence in verifying customer identity and meeting regulatory obligations. We work closely with Onboarding, Compliance and FinCrime, and pair process depth with an AI‑first mindset so quality work gets faster and more consistent as Aspire scales across markets.

What You’ll Own
