Job summary

algoleap is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Analyst to lead manual testing for the Customer Portal, a React/AEM-based web app integrated with SAP and Salesforce. You will validate end-to-end processes, including orders, deliveries, invoices, and documents, ensuring data accuracy and customer experience before release.

Responsibilities include test planning, case design, API and integration checks, defect management, traceability, and UAT support within an Agile team.

Qualifications

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Analyst to lead manual testing efforts for the Customer Portal, a React/AEM-based web application integrated with SAP, Salesforce, and supporting middleware. The QA will validate end-to-end business scenarios spanning the web/AEM front end and SAP-driven backend processes (orders, deliveries, invoices, documents), ensuring the portal meets functional, data-accuracy, and customer-experience requirements before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Strategy: Define the manual test strategy and test plans for each Phase 1 module (Profile, Documents, Contact Us, Dashboard, Deliveries, Order Status), covering functional, regression, integration, and UAT-support testing.
• Test Case Design: Author detailed test cases and test scripts derived from business requirement documents, including field-level validations, business rules, and source-system mappings (e.g., SAP, SFDC).
• SAP-Integrated Scenario Testing: Validate portal behavior against SAP-driven data and logic, including order status transitions, delivery commitment / delay logic, credit/pricing/compliance blocks, invoice and document availability, and output management triggers.
• Web/UI Testing: Perform functional, cross-browser, responsive, and accessibility testing of the React/AEM front end, including forms, search/filter behavior, modals, file uploads/downloads, and navigation flows.
• Data Validation: Verify data accuracy and consistency across SAP, Salesforce (SFDC), and the portal UI, including account details, contact information, order/delivery data, and document metadata.
• Defect Management: Log, triage, and track defects to closure using the team's defect management tool, working closely with React developers, AEM SMEs, and SAP consultants on root cause and resolution.
• Requirement Traceability: Maintain requirements-to-test-case traceability matrices to ensure full coverage of documented requirements and sign-off criteria.
• Regression & Release Testing: Execute regression test cycles ahead of each release, validate bug fixes, and provide go/no-go quality input to the Project Lead.
• UAT Support: Support business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing, including test data preparation, issue triage, and coordination of retesting.
• Documentation: Maintain clear test documentation, execution logs, and status reporting (pass/fail metrics, defect trends, coverage) for project stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of manual QA experience with at least 2+ years testing applications integrated with SAP and modern web front ends.
• SAP Exposure: Working knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution (Order-to-Cash) processes – Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing/Invoicing, Customer Master – sufficient to validate business rules and data displayed on the portal.
• Web Application Testing: Hands-on experience testing React-based or other modern JavaScript web applications, including responsive/cross-browser testing; exposure to CMS/DXP platforms such as AEM is a plus.
• Test Management Tools: Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA/Xray, Azure DevOps, qTest, or similar).
• API/Integration Awareness: Ability to validate data flowing through REST/GraphQL APIs and integration layers (e.g., Apigee) at a functional level, using tools such as Postman.
• CRM Exposure: Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) data structures (Accounts, Contacts, Cases) as they relate to customer and case data shown on the portal.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to design test scenarios covering complex business/status logic (e.g., order and delivery lifecycle states).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for defect reporting and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, including participation in sprint ceremonies and Definition of Done reviews.

Added Advantage (Highly Preferred)

• Experience testing AEM (Sites/SPA Editor) authored pages and AEM Dispatcher-cached content.
• Exposure to SAP transaction codes relevant to customer master and order data (e.g., XD03) for cross-verification during testing.
• Experience testing Salesforce Case creation/workflow integrations.
• Basic SQL knowledge for backend data verification.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
