Job summary

WebCodeGenie Technology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to join our team. The candidate should be self-driven, solution-oriented and able to work independently or with cross-functional teams on web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities include creating test cases, executing tests, reporting defects with Mantis, and collaborating with developers and analysts to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of manual testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and functional requirements for web and mobile apps.
• Create detailed test cases, scenarios, and data for web and mobile platforms.
• Perform Functional, UI, Usability, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects using Mantis.
• Ensure compatibility across screen sizes, resolutions and OS versions.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to resolve defects.
• Maintain documentation of test cases, execution results, and defect logs.

• Compatibility Testing: Ensure app performance on different screen sizes, resolutions, and OS versions.
• Regression & Re-Testing: Verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues arise after changes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to resolve defects.
• Test Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test execution reports, and defect logs.
