Job summary

Kanhasoft in Ahmedabad is seeking a Sr. Quality Analyst with 3+ years of software QA experience. You will plan and execute testing, review requirements, design test cases, and drive defect visibility across the SDLC.

You will collaborate with developers, PMs, and business analysts to ensure product quality, perform functional, regression, and system testing, and mentor junior QA team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications, including business apps.

Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications (CRM, ERP, HRMS, CMS, e-commerce) and identify defects.
• Review requirements and design documents; provide timely feedback.
• Translate requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
• Create detailed test plans, scenarios and cases; estimate and coordinate testing.
• Track defects through lifecycle; ensure timely closure.
• Perform System, Functional and Regression Testing; conduct thorough regression after fixes.
• Prepare and present testing status reports to stakeholders.
• Analyze test results; escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams.
• Participate in all SDLC and STLC phases; ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with developers, PMs, BAs; ensure timely defect resolution.
• Support QA processes and mentor junior QA members.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Quality Analyst with 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications, particularly business applications such as CRM, ERP, HRMS, Complaint Management Systems, CMS, and E-commerce websites.

The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing testing activities, identifying defects, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with development and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications, including CRM, ERP, HRMS, Complaint Management Systems, CMS, and E-commerce applications.
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on bugs through the complete defect lifecycle.
• Perform System Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and other required testing activities.
• Perform thorough regression testing after bugs are fixed.
• Prepare and present testing status reports to the relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and elevate critical issues to the appropriate teams.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Coordinate closely with developers, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Support the QA team in maintaining testing standards and processes.
• Handle and guide junior QA team members and coordinate day-to-day testing activities.
• Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards before release.
