Job summary

SoHo Dragon in Ahmedabad is seeking lab professionals ranging from freshers to experienced candidates for a biotech client project in the US. The role involves accessioning verification, data entry, PCR analysis and comprehensive reporting of laboratory results.

You will handle real-time PCR, conventional PCR, Western blot and ELISA data, with emphasis on accuracy, timely follow-up, and coordination with lab staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and Masters in Medical Biotechnology, Biology or Microbiology required.
• 0-4 years of relevant lab experience preferred.
• Experience with Real-Time PCR and basic bioreporting.

Responsibilities

• Review test requisition forms and specimen data for accuracy.
• Issue discrepancy reports to the lab for corrective action.
• Perform Real-Time PCR analysis and interpretation using Rotor-Gene software.
• Enter and verify laboratory result reports including Real-Time PCR, Conventional PCR, Western blot and ELISA.
• Evaluate results for repeat/reflex testing and follow up on pending results.
• Maintain pending list and communicate with lab personnel.
• Batch process test results for release and weekly disease reporting to state agencies.

We are hiring freshers to experienced candidates for one of our biotech clients in the US. Shift Timings:

Experience: 0 to 4 years

Location: Ahmedabad

Responsibilities:

• Perform accessioning verification by reviewing all Test Requisition Forms and specimen data to ensure information has been entered correctly.
• Issue discrepancy reports to the lab for corrective action.
• Perform Real-Time PCR analysis and interpretation of results using the Rotor-Gene software.
• Enter and verify all laboratory result reports including Real-Time PCR, Conventional PCR, Western blot, and ELISA.
• Evaluate lab results for repeat and/or reflex testing.
• Follow up on results pending.
• Maintain and communicate pending list with lab personnel.
• Perform batch processing of test results to be released.
• Perform weekly reporting of positive communicable disease results to state agencies as mandated.

Requirements:

• Bachelors and Master Degree in Medical Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology REQUIRED.
