Job summary

Biometa Polypack is seeking dedicated QC/Operations staff to perform routine quality checks on materials, assist in dispatch activities, and maintain detailed quality and dispatch records. The role requires coordinating with production, stores, logistics, and accounts to ensure accurate, timely packaging and shipment.

The candidate should have basic QA/QC knowledge, strong observation skills, and be comfortable working in a plant environment, with CIPET education preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have basic understanding of quality control and manufacturing processes.
• Experience or exposure to QA/QC procedures and SOPs is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and generate simple reports.
• Strong observation and communication skills for inter-department coordination.
• Candidates should be willing to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality checks of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Inspect products as per defined quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and report quality issues, defects, or deviations to the concerned senior.
• Maintain QC inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
• Coordinate with production and operations teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure proper identification and segregation of rejected/non-conforming materials.
• Support implementation of quality procedures and SOPs.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and quality standards on the shop floor.
• Coordinate day-to-day operational activities with the production and dispatch teams.
• Verify finished goods before dispatch as per order requirements.
• Prepare and maintain dispatch-related documents and records.
• Coordinate with stores, production, logistics, and accounts teams for timely dispatches.
• Ensure correct quantity, product, packaging, labeling, and documentation before dispatch.
• Track dispatch status and update relevant records.
• Assist in stock verification and reconciliation whenever required.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Support smooth and timely execution of customer orders.
• Maintain daily QC and dispatch reports.
• Update production, inspection, rejection, and dispatch records.
• Prepare basic MIS/reports as required by the management.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of operational documents.
