The QC Officer will be responsible for performing quality control activities related to raw materials, in-process samples, packaging materials, and finished products. The involves conducting analytical testing, maintaining laboratory documentation, ensuring compliance with GLP/GMP standards, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. The candidate will work closely with QA, production, and regulatory teams to maintain high product quality and operational efficiency.
- Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure accurate and timely testing as per approved specifications and SOPs.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
- Perform calibration and routine maintenance of QC instruments.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and regulatory quality standards.
- Review analytical data and report any out-of-specification (OOS) results.
- Support investigation of deviations, OOS, and quality-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory including chemicals, reagents, and standards.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of laboratory materials.
- Coordinate with QA and production teams for quality-related activities.
- Participate in method validation, method transfer, and stability studies as required.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the laboratory environment.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Maintain data integrity and confidentiality of laboratory information.
- Prepare MIS reports and testing summaries for management review.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives within QC operations.
- Stay updated with analytical techniques, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
- Ensure timely release of materials and products based on quality evaluation.
