Job summary

Theoriat Services invites applications for a QC Lab Technician role based in Maharashtra. The position involves assisting in physical inspection of raw materials, conducting physical and chemical tests, and ensuring accurate documentation of test results and sample tracking.

You will support material approvals, monitor for out-of-spec results, and help prepare test certificates for dispatch. 0-2 years experience and a B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in QC lab.
• B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in physical inspection of raw materials (quantity, condition, labeling) (Bill Qty vs Actual Qty).
• Verify proper coding of BRL & CAN.
• Conduct physical and chemical testing of RM, defective materials, samples, and water samples
• Collect and test RM samples as per SOP and test methods.
• Verify samples received from SR as per defined parameters.
• Record test results accurately in registers / systems
• Support RM approval or rejection process.
• Perform routine physical and chemical tests of in-process and finished goods.
• Support reaction monitoring and production testing
• Submit test reports to Production within given timeline.
• Support production to avoid delays.
• Inform seniors immediately in case of out-of-specification (OOS) results
• Proper collection, labelling, storage, and disposal of samples.
• Prepare and issue test certificates for all products and accessories before dispatch.
