Job summary

Enormous Enterprise LLC is seeking a QA Tester to design and implement automated testing plans for the Athena Master Reference Data Platform. This role focuses on data pipelines, ETL validation, and end-to-end regression testing to ensure a single source of truth.

You will build automated tests with PyTest/Great Expectations, integrate with CI/CD, and collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data integrity across environments. Remote options include major Indian cities and All India coverage.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience developing automated tests for data-centric platforms.
• Strong SQL skills for complex data validation and backend testing.
• Hands-on with MDMS/Reference data and data warehouse environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and defect tracking.

Job Summary

As a QA Tester, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the Athena Master Reference Data Platform, with a primary focus on designing and implementing automated testing plans. You will be responsible for designing and executing rigorous testing strategies for data pipelines, integration points, and platform functionality to ensure that master data remains a single source of truth for the organisation, including integration and end-to-end regression testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts specifically for data validation, ensuring ETL processes and data transformations meet business logic requirements.
• Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline to provide immediate feedback on platform stability and data quality.
• Collaborate with developers to define Definition of Done criteria and ensure automated test coverage for all new platform features and bug fixes.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for master data workflows and ETL processes. Perform deep-dive data validation using SQL to ensure data consistency, quality, and transformation accuracy across environments.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to identify, document, and track defects within the Athena ecosystem.
• Build and maintain automated regression test suites to support CI/CD cycles.
• Validate API endpoints and downstream data consumption points to ensure seamless integration with peripheral systems.
• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and completeness across upstream and downstream systems. Perform schema, payload, and contract validation between producer and consumer systems.
• Design and execute test scenarios covering positive, negative, and edge cases.

Requirements

• 4–5 years’ experience in developing automated testing frameworks for data-centric platforms using Python, PyTest or Great Expectations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis, validation, and backend testing.
• Proven experience in testing Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data platforms or large-scale data warehouse environments.
• Proven track record of implementing automated testing plans with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD environments.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest, Selenium, or Robot Framework and Azure DevOps/Jira for defect management.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest, Selenium, or Robot Framework and Azure DevOps/Jira for defect management.
• Familiarity with Kafka / streaming data validation.
• Exposure to OpenSearch / Elasticsearch for data validation and querying.
• Experience with MDM platforms;
• Reltio preferred.
