Job Title: QA Tester / Senior QA Engineer (Acturis Experience Required)

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester / Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in software testing and hands-on experience working with the Acturis platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications, with a focus on insurance-related workflows and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and enterprise applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Validate and test workflows, configurations, and data within the Acturis environment.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide input on test ability and quality risks.
• Conduct API testing and backend data validation where required.
• Support production issue analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, testing processes, and documentation practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies and automation opportunities.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
• Hands-on experience working with Acturis (mandatory).
• Solid manual testing knowledge include the process
• They must be able to look at the specs and derive test case inc rating test cases
• Solid experience on all the insurance workflow such as new business, MTA, cancellation, renewals etc.
• Solid rating calculation experience, should be able to demonstrate how they can calculate MTA, reinstatement and other rating scenarios
• Excellent communicator
• Self lead and lead project
• Must have worked with stakeholders directly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in test automation is a plus.
• ISTQB certification preferred.
• Experience working with UK insurance clients/processes is advantageous.
