Job summary

Spring Computing Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a QA Tester with 2–3 years of software testing experience in Pune.

The role demands hands-on skills in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing using Playwright, with strong knowledge of testing concepts and the ability to design and execute manual test cases. You will build and maintain automated scripts with Playwright/Selenium WebDriver, and perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing on web and mobile applications.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of software testing experience, with manual and automation testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with Playwright or Selenium WebDriver for automation.
• API testing experience with Postman; familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter is desirable.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, document, and run manual test cases based on requirements.

• Apply Python, Java, or TypeScript for test automation.

Overview

We are looking for a QA Tester with 2-3 years of experience in software testing, with hands-on skills in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing using Playwright. Both manual and automation testing skills are mandatory. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing concepts, be capable of designing and executing manual test cases, and have experience automating regression and functional test scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Help continually improve testing practices, automation coverage, and quality standards.
• Use AI-assisted QA tools to generate test cases, support test automation, and analyse defects, validating AI-generated outputs for accuracy.
• Test AI-powered applications for response accuracy, relevance, consistency, and robustness, including edge cases and incorrect or unsupported outputs.

Skills

• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or other relevant streams.
• 2 - 3 years of software testing experience, including manual testing; automation experience is strongly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of testing methodologies (SDLC/STLC) and the defect lifecycle.
• Practical experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or comparable automation frameworks.
• Strong TypeScript programming skills for test automation.
• API testing experience with Postman and familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter are desirable.
• Sound SQL knowledge and the ability to validate backend data.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
