Job summary

Launch It Consulting is seeking an experienced QA Tester to help ensure the quality of our web applications. You will create test cases, execute tests, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA for web-based apps, strong QA methodologies, and hands-on manual testing of Angular front ends and .NET back ends. You will contribute to test coverage and release readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA Testing experience.
• Experience in QA for web-based applications.
• Strong QA methodologies, testing life cycles, and defect management.
• Hands-on manual testing, including regression and integration testing.
• Familiarity with web application architectures, especially Angular front ends and .NET back ends.

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for new and existing features
• Validate end-to-end workflows
• Identify, document, and track defects clearly and accurately, collaborating with developers to resolve issues
• Participate in requirement reviews and design discussions to highlight test considerations early
• Support release testing activities and help ensure readiness for production deployments
• Collaborate closely with the Senior QA Analyst to uphold QA standards and testing best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and documentation

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of QA Testing
• Experience in software quality assurance for web-based applications
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycles, and defect management
• Hands-on experience with manual testing, including regression and integration testing
• Familiarity with web application architectures, especially Angular front ends and .NET back ends
