Job summary

CueForGood is seeking a Quality Analyst in India to participate in QA for sprint releases and support requirement analysis, following STLC across ecommerce brands. You will test software technically and functionally for a broad consumer base, ensuring high-quality digital products.

Responsibilities include creating and monitoring test scripts, defect remediation, interaction with development teams, and sharing learnings via blogs and guides.

Qualifications

• Manual testing experience in ecommerce domain.
• Solid understanding of SDLC.
• 2+ years in testing across multiple levels.
• Defect management using Mantis.
• Experience with analytics data (Google Analytics).
• SQL and scripting basics preferred.

(QA) Quality Analyst
XAs a Quality Analyst, you will participate in QA for sprint releases, contribute to the requirement-analysis process, and follow STLC for a range of purpose-driven eCommerce brands.

You will be responsible to test all the aspects of software both technically and functionally to deliver a quality product. This will be done for both early-stage brands and brands serving close to a million consumers.

Quality Analysts at CueForGood hold keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills so they can ensure proper and efficient working of digital products.

What will you be doing?

• Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
• Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
• Create test scripts for automation. (Preferred Tools - Selenium & JMeter).
• Interact with the development team and clients for understanding and troubleshooting issues.
• Write about, present, and share what you’re learning and working on, both internally and with the wider community via our blog, guides, and social channels.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Meticulous exposure in the field of Manual Testing with solid experience in the eCommerce domain.
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Min. 2 years of experience on all aspects of testing like Smoke, Sanity, Unit, Integration, Regression, Load and Performance testing.
• Proficiency in using defect management systems like Mantis.
• Exhibited skills in requirement analysis along with clear and complete report creation.
• Practical understanding of Google Analytics data, SQL, and Scripting Language (preferable).
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in QA and experience in agile software development processes.
• Genuine care about the vision and business of clients. A desire to make the processes better with a balanced sense of optimism and humility.
