Upraisal People Productivity Performance - Best executive search firm is seeking a Jewelry QA/QC inspector in Mumbai to conduct inspections at all production stages, verify specs, and ensure finished pieces meet customer requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years in jewelry QA/QC, strong attention to detail, and coordination with production and merchandising teams to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC within the jewelry industry.
• Good understanding of jewelry defects, quality parameters, workmanship, and finishing standards.
• Ability to identify issues related to stone setting, symmetry, metal finishing, dimensions, and product appearance.
• Familiarity with quality inspection procedures, sampling methods, inspection checklists, and quality documentation.
• Ability to read and understand product specifications, technical drawings, and approved samples.
• Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with production and merchandising teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of jewelry at various stages, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
• Check jewelry against approved samples, technical drawings, product specifications, and customer requirements.
• Verify product dimensions, weight, metal quality, stone specifications, and other relevant parameters.
• Perform final quality checks before packing and dispatch to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate with production, manufacturing, setting, polishing, and merchandising teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain quality inspection reports, defect records, rejection reports, and product approval documentation.
• Monitor rejection rates, rework, customer complaints, and quality-related production losses.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable jewelry industry requirements.
• Support process improvements to reduce defects, minimize rework, and improve overall product quality.
