Job summary

Jyoti Tturbopower Services is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Project in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. You will ensure structural, mechanical, piping, and equipment erection compliance with project specs, codes, and client requirements.

The role requires 4–6 years of QA/QC experience in thermal power/EPC settings, with a mechanical engineering background (Diploma/B.E./B.Tech). relocation to NTPC Lara is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong documentation and client coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality inspections for structural steel, piping, and mechanical erection works.
• Inspect installation of Turbine, Condenser, EOT Crane, BOP, and auxiliary equipment.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, ITPs, Method Statements, and Quality Plans.
• Prepare and maintain quality documents including: RFI, IR, MIR, NCR, Daily Quality Reports.
• Monitor fit-up, alignment, welding, bolting, grouting, and dimensional inspections.
• Coordinate NDT activities (VT, PT, MT, UT & RT) and review reports.
• Verify WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records.
• Ensure work complies with ASME, ASTM, AWS, IS, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies.
• Monitor closure of NCRs and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Prepare final quality dossiers and project handover documentation.

• Ability to work independently at project sites.
• Willing to relocate to NTPC Lara, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
