Job summary

GlobalLogic in Hyderabad, India is seeking a QA Python Engineer to analyze and implement test requirements, design test cases, and plan testing activities. You will work on codecs domain testing, including MPEG formats, color subsampling, and uncompressed video layouts, while collaborating on CI/CD strategies and Windows environments.

You will review test cases, contribute to testing architecture discussions, and engage with tools like PyTest, Jira, and Git.

• MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 (h.263, h.264, h.265); MPEG-1 Layer II/III; JPEG; AAC
• Uncompressed video signal layouts; CDCI (color subsampling), RGBA
• Verifying codec output correctness and quality
• Experience with unit testing.
• Experience with Windows.
• Experience with Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles.
• Experience with Jira.
• Familiarity with CMake.
• Basic theoretical or practical knowledge of C++, Java, JavaScript, Go.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
