Job summary

NB Healthcare Technologies in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced Performance Test Engineer to design, implement, and run comprehensive performance tests using Apache JMeter for web applications, REST APIs, and microservices. You will analyze bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers, define workload models, and establish acceptance criteria based on non-functional requirements.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on performance testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
• Experience testing REST APIs, web applications, and microservices performance.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, and API performance testing.
• Experience analyzing server-side metrics (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network) & SQL for validation.
• Familiarity with APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Strong scripting knowledge for test parameterization and custom logic in JMeter.

Required Skills

• 4 - 6 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.

• Experience designing and executing load, stress, endurance (soak), and spike tests.

• Experience testing REST APIs, web applications, and microservices.

• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, and API performance testing.

• Experience analyzing server-side metrics such as CPU, memory, disk I/O, network utilization, and thread usage.

• Knowledge of SQL for database validation and performance analysis.

• Familiarity with application performance monitoring (APM) tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, or Prometheus.

• Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Strong scripting knowledge for test parameterization, correlation, and custom logic using Groovy or BeanShell in JMeter.

• Experience with Git and version control.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
