Job summary

AlgoShack is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Performance Testing & Automation in Bengaluru. The role requires 6+ years in performance testing and test automation, with hands-on expertise in JMeter, Playwright (Python), and Selenium (Java).

You will analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with Dev, QA, and Cloud teams to ensure reliability. The ideal candidate will design and execute diverse performance tests, build automation scripts, and contribute to CI/CD integration

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
• Experience in test automation using Playwright (Python) and Selenium (Java).
• Experience with GCP environments.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Kibana.
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting tools such as Chrome DevTools, Fiddler, and Wireshark.
• Good understanding of web applications, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts including load, stress, spike, volume, and endurance testing.
• Understanding of performance metrics such as response time, throughput, latency, CPU utilization, memory consumption, disk I/O, and network utilization.
• Experience in log analysis, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and optimization recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
