• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum and DevOps delivery models.
• Hands-on with test management and defect tracking tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM or qTest.
• Experience in API testing (Postman, SoapUI).
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Strong analytical and risk-management skills; excellent stakeholder leadership.

Location: Mumbai/Pune Experience: 10-12 QA Lead - Financial Services Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across Financial Services applications, with a strong focus on Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, and Investment Management domains. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading QA teams, defining testing strategies, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile and DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects and releases.
• Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, test approaches, and quality metrics.
• Mentor and guide QA team members to ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and quality expectations.
• Oversee test planning, test execution, defect management, risk assessment, and test reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Review and approve test cases, test scenarios, and test deliverables.
• Coordinate testing activities across functional, integration, regression, API, and user acceptance testing phases.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure QA alignment throughout the SDLC and STLC.
• Provide regular status updates, quality metrics, and risk assessments to project and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Proven experience in a QA Lead or Test Lead role managing testing teams and delivery.
• Experience working on Financial Services projects, preferably in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, or Investment Management.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, and DevOps delivery models.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or qTest.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and team-building capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of financial industry regulations, compliance requirements, and governance standards.
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, Certified Agile Tester, Scrum certifications, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in data validation, database testing, and reporting environments.
