Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Senior Test Analyst – EOL System Upgrade in Pune to drive testing for end-of-life system enhancements. You will develop test plans, execute SIT and support UAT, and coordinate with business analysts, developers, and PMs to ensure quality delivery.

Role requires strong SQL skills, JIRA usage, and knowledge of finance instruments with Murex exposure. Agile/hybrid delivery and automation exposure are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience as a System Test Analyst or similar role in complex system upgrade or integration projects.
• Strong knowledge of system testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience testing interfaces (inbound/outbound), including file-based and API integrations.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Solid understanding of finance markets and instruments (derivatives, repos, securities lending).
• Murex knowledge.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
• Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.

Project Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced System Integration Testing (SIT) Analyst to join its offshore team in India. This role focuses on testing enhancements to End-of-Life (EOL) systems , which is being tactically upgraded to support business continuity until full migration to a new platform is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive system test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with the upgrade scope.
• Validate end-to-end workflows involving loan drawdowns, notifications, and financial transactions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Perform system integration testing (SIT) and support user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
• Participate in test reviews, walkthroughs, and sign-off processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal QA standards and regulatory requirements.
