Job summary

Light & Wonder is hiring a QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer in Bengaluru to drive automation across UI and API tests. 3–8 years of experience required. You will design QA strategy, build and review test artifacts, and collaborate with Dev, Product, and DevOps.

4 days per week in-office work at ITPL, Whitefield. Interview rounds include a written test, technical interview, director interview, and HR discussion.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong expertise in UI and API automation testing using Selenium or Playwright with Java.
• Solid understanding of OO programming and automation framework design.
• Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience.
• Proficiency in Git, Jira and qTest (or equivalent).
• Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of Java and OO software design.
• Experience with TDD, BDD, Gherkin and Cucumber.
• Define and drive QA strategy, test plans and automation standards.
• Review test cases, scripts and defect reports; track automation coverage and quality metrics.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting across manual and automated testing, incl. CI/CD failures.
• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and DevOps for delivery.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Maven build lifecycle.
• Experience with CI/CD practices/tools (Jenkins, Docker).
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Maven/build lifecycle.
• Nice-to-have: Bash/Python scripting and performance tools (Prometheus, Gatling, JMeter).
