Job summary

Durapid Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a QA Engineer with strong experience in Oracle Retail POS/Xstore and retail domain testing to perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of POS applications and related retail workflows.

You will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios, logging and tracking defects in Jira, and performing root-cause analysis for POS issues while validating integrations and hardware peripherals.

Qualifications

• Retail POS QA testing experience required.
• Hands-on Oracle Retail POS Xstore experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and POS workflows.
• Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum.
• Proven skills in test planning, execution, regression testing and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing for Oracle Retail POS/Xstore.
• Test retail processes including promotions, returns, exchanges, inventory, loyalty and payments.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
• Log, track and validate defects using Jira.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis for POS issues.
• Validate POS integrations and workflows across retail applications.
• Test POS hardware and peripherals (scanners, receipt printers, payment terminals, cash drawers, PIN pads).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint testing.
• Maintain QA documentation, test reports and defect status reports.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Software QA and Retail POS Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Retail POS Xstore – Highly Preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and POS workflows.
• Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong expertise in test planning, execution, regression testing, and defect management.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Oracle Retail ecosystem experience.
• Exposure to Oracle Customer Engagement (CE).
• Experience testing POS hardware and peripheral devices.
• Experience with Xstore or similar Oracle Retail applications.
