The position is full-time with work hours from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute test cases and plans for software applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure quality standards.

About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing) to join our dynamic team at Mumbai/Bangalore.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in writing and executing test cases and test plans based on requirements or user stories.
• Strong hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems like Git/Bitbucket.
• Experience / in depth knowledge with AI tools like Cursor, Cline, Codex etc is a huge plus.

Manual Testing

• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Ability to perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA .
• Understanding responsive testing and UI validation techniques.
• Experience writing and execution SQL queries

Automation Testing

• Ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts.
• Knowledge of test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Understanding of data‑driven and keyword‑driven automation approaches.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with visual testing tools (e.g., Applitools).
• Experience / research into possibilities of AI techniques in QA automation.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software QA with a mix of manual and automated testing.
• Knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Work Hours: 4 AM EST to 1 PM EST (1.30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST)
