Job summary

WPG Technologies Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad, India is hiring a QA Engineer (Manual) to own test case execution for each build, drive regression suites before releases, and log clear bug reports. This is a full-time, on-site role with a daily overlap window to align with the US team.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on manual QA experience with web/SaaS products, strong English, familiarity with Postman for API validation, and comfort using Jira or similar ticketing tools.

Qualifications

• 25 years hands-on manual QA on a web application or SaaS product.
• Checklist-driven role requiring test case execution and defect tracking.
• Experience with bug trackers (Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, or similar).
• Ability to read a UI spec and identify missing pieces without being told.
• Postman or equivalent for API validation.
• Strong written English; bug reports are the primary interface with the US team.
• Daily overlap window with US Eastern Time (approx. 6:30 PM–9:30 PM IST).

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned test cases against each code push and log pass/fail results with evidence (screenshots, steps, environment).
• Run full regression suites before every release; run targeted retests after every bug fix.
• Write and maintain test cases from user stories, tickets, and developer notes.
• File clear, reproducible bug reports: steps, expected vs. actual, severity, browser/environment.
• Verify fixes and close out tickets; escalate anything that reopens twice.
• Cross-browser and responsive checks (Chrome, Edge, Safari, mobile viewports).
• Maintain the test case library and daily QA status report for the US team.
• Basic API testing via Postman (endpoint responses, auth flows, error handling).

About the role

We're building an AI-native SaaS platform for MSP operations. Our US development team is shipping fast, and we need dedicated QA so developers stop testing their own code. You will own test case execution every build, every push, every fix.

What you\'ll do

• Execute assigned test cases against each code push and log pass/fail results with evidence (screenshots, steps, environment)
• Run full regression suites before every release; run targeted retests after every bug fix
• Write and maintain test cases from user stories, tickets, and developer notes
• File clear, reproducible bug reports steps, expected vs. actual, severity, browser/environment
• Verify fixes and close out tickets; escalated anything that reopens twice
• Cross-browser and responsive checks (Chrome, Edge, Safari, mobile viewports)
• Maintain the test case library and daily QA status report for the US team
• Basic API testing via Postman (endpoint responses, auth flows, error handling)

Requirements

• 25 years hands-on manual QA on a web application or SaaS product
• Proven discipline with test case execution and defect tracking this is a checklist-driven role, not an exploratory-only role
• Working knowledge of a bug tracker (Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, or similar)
• Comfortable reading a UI spec and identifying what\'s missing without being told
• Postman or equivalent for API validation
• Strong written English your bug reports are the primary interface with the US team
• Available for a daily overlap window with US Eastern Time (approx. 6:30 PM 9:30 PM IST)

Nice to have

• Automation exposure (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) we will move here over time
• SQL for data validation
• Experience testing multi-tenant or role-based-permission products
• Familiarity with MSP/IT service management tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, Datto)

Reporting

Reports to the US Development Lead, with day-to-day coordination through the Ahmedabad office.
