Job summary

DrinkPrime is hiring a Junior QA Engineer (Automation-Focused) to help build a robust automation framework across web and mobile apps. You will contribute to faster release cycles and scale testing as the product grows in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad.

The role requires hands-on automation experience with Java or Python, proficiency in Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and API testing tools like Postman/REST.

As a Junior QA Engineer (Automation-Focused), you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our products from day one. Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications
  
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for UI and API testing
  
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproducible steps and debugging insights
  
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand feature logic, edge cases, and integration flows
  
• Drive regression automation efforts to minimize manual testing and improve release velocity
  
• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release coordination
  
• Stay updated with modern test automation practices and continuously improve testing strategies
  
• Take increasing ownership of test coverage and quality for assigned product modules
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• 1+ years of QA experience (including internships), with hands-on automation experience
  
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred)
  
• Practical experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar
  
• Solid understanding of API testing concepts and tools (Postman, REST)
  
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to trace issues across frontend and backend systems
  
• Comfortable reading and understanding code, including backend service interactions
  
• Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and eagerness to learn in a dynamic startup environment
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
