Job summary

ZEISS VisioGen is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing to assure the quality of our AI-powered ophthalmology platform.

You will work with Playwright/Cypress/Selenium to test web UI and REST APIs, validate data with SQL, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines in Agile teams. Healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Experience with web UI and REST API automation tools.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience in healthcare, medtech, or a regulated environment is preferred.

We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing to help assure the quality of the ZEISS VisioGen platform, includin 5+ years of experience in software testing, covering both manual and automation testing.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools for web UI and REST APIs, such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Postman.
• Solid understanding of test design techniques, the defect lifecycle, and regression strategy.
• Experience running automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience in healthcare, medtech, or another regulated environment.
• Experience testing AI/LLM-based or conversational applications.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
• Familiarity with Azure-hosted applications and log analysis tools.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
