Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain test cases clear, step-by-step checks that confirm the software works the way it should.
• Test new features, and re-test the existing ones after any change, so that nothing that used to work quietly breaks.
• Check that the data and the APIs behind the screen are returning the correct results.
• Report problems clearly, with the exact steps needed to see them again, and follow them up until they are fixed.
• Look into an issue deeply enough to understand why it is happening, not just that it is happening.
• Think about the unusual situations a real user might run into, and test those as well.
• Work closely with the developers so that issues get sorted out quickly.
• Keep test and bug records neat, complete, and up to date.
• Use AI tools to test faster, spot problems sooner, and keep documentation clear.

Required Skills

• A good understanding of software testing — what to test, why it matters, and how to go about it.
• A basic understanding of how software is built, and how systems talk to each other over a network.
