Job summary

Comviva in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our product QA team. You will design test plans, execute manual and automated tests, and validate UI, API, and backend functionalities across platforms.

You will collaborate with developers and product managers, perform regression and performance testing, and ensure data integrity with SQL tests in Linux environments. Prior telecom QA exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software quality assurance experience, preferably in telecom.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and QA principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for product software.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of product solutions.
• Perform UI testing, API testing, and backend testing across various platforms.
• Execute regression, functional, integration, and UAT testing on software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve quality-related issues.

• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.

• Knowledge with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium - TestNG, Robot Framework, Appium, JMeter).
• Knowledge in scripting languages such as Python or Shell for automation.
• Strong experience in UI testing, API testing, and backend testing.
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments and SQL for backend validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
