Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer in Bengaluru to design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright-based automation scripts and frameworks. You will build CI/CD pipelines, perform manual, SQL, and API testing, and collaborate with development teams to prioritize testing efforts.

The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of Manual and Automation experience, strong OOP knowledge, and excellent communication, with a hands-on approach to debugging across layers.

• 4-5 years of experience in Manual and Automation.

Job description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript), including reusable functions and utilities.
• Independently build and maintain scalable and efficient automation frameworks from scratch.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in at least one programming language, with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Execute comprehensive testing, including manual, database (SQL), and API testing for complex scenarios, along with effective exploratory testing practices.
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues across both automation scripts and application layers.
• Possess strong knowledge of SQL databases, including writing and validating complex queries.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure effective, risk-based prioritization of testing activities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment at all stages.
