Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance for our payment clearing platform. You will design and implement automated test strategies, validate complex payment flows, and drive CI/CD integrated testing in fintech environments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in QA for payments or transaction processing, strong scripting skills, and a passion for AI-assisted testing and data management. Pune-based role, on-site.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in QA for fintech platforms, payment gateways or transaction processing systems.
• Experience designing and executing automated regression suites, preferably in payment environments.
• Experience validating complex payment flows and settlement rules.

Responsibilities

• Payment validation: Validate clearing cycles, financial message formats, settlement rules and reconciliation workflows
• AI innovation: Implement AI-driven QA approaches including autonomous test generation and self-healing scripts
• Test automation execution: Build end-to-end regression suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Test data management: Create synthetic, compliant financial test data for clearing scenarios
• Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Developers and DevOps to optimize performance

Core Focus: Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead the quality assurance strategy for our core payment clearing platform

Key Responsibilities

• Payment Validation : Validate complex payment clearing cycles, financial message formats (ISO 20022, SWIFT), settlement rules, and reconciliation workflows
• AI Innovation : Implement AI-driven QA approaches, including autonomous test generation, self-healing test scripts, and predictive defect analysis
• Test Automation Execution : Build end-to-end regression suites that integrate seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines for continuous verification
• Test Data Management : Create and manage synthetic, compliance-safe financial test data for complex clearing scenarios
• Collaboration : Partner with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps to isolate system bottlenecks and ensure cross-functional alignment
