Job summary

Amagi is looking for a QA Automation Engineer in Bengaluru, India, to join the Customer Success team. The role involves writing test scripts for complex systems and designing automated test frameworks.

Job description

Role: QA Automation Engineer

Department: Customer Success

Key Responsibilities

• Writing test scripts for complex systems.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
• Writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing including performance and Identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting defects in the product.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and ensure stable regression execution
• Work on REST API
• Work on SQL / POSTGRESQL / Any DB
• Work on OpenCV
• Maintaining stable framework at 99.9% uptime.

Skills and Expertise Required

• Strong hands-on experience in Python
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Pytest / Unittest / Robot Framework or equivalent
• Strong understanding of API testing and tools/concepts such as REST, JSON, authentication, request/response validation
• Experience in designing and building scalable automated test frameworks and test suites, working across technologies and Analysing the logs for failures and resolving in the shortest time.
• Knowledge and Experience of AWS services, Kubernetes, Docker, Containerisation.
• Working experience on OpenCV
• Strong experience in Agile development methodologies and utilizing technologies such as GIT, Jenkins for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience in manual testing, analysing test logs, creating test reports and keeping the manager updated on the progress on a regular basis.
• Work on building scripts / framework / systems with AI
• Experience with Open Source Performance Testing Tools like Locust or JMeter.
