Job summary

Jobitus is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive quality across mobile apps, APIs and supporting web components for FinTech and healthcare clients. You will collaborate with Engineering Manager, mobile developers, UI/UX and DevOps to deliver secure, production-ready software.

You will design and maintain automated test frameworks for Android/iOS and APIs, build end-to-end suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and contribute to test strategy, coverage and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of QA/testing experience with strong automation exposure.
• Strong hands-on experience in mobile app testing and API testing.
• Experience with Appium, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or equivalent.
• Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or equivalent.
• REST APIs, JSON, authentication mechanisms and database validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for Android/iOS mobile applications and APIs.
• Build and maintain functional, regression, integration, API and end-to-end automation suites.
• Validate workflows (digital lending, onboarding, authentication, payments) where applicable.
• Define test strategies, plans, automation coverage and release-quality assessments.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support quality gates for releases.
• Perform defect analysis and root-cause investigation with developers.
• Test performance, reliability, compatibility and security-sensitive workflows.
• Support production validation, regression testing and release sign-off.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation stability, execution time and maintainability.

Role Overview

We are looking for aQA Automation Engineerto drive quality engineering acrossmobile applications, APIs and supporting web components. The role will work closely with the Engineering Manager, Mobile App Developer, UI/UX Developer and DevOps Engineer to build reliable, secure and production-ready applications forFinTech and healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks forAndroid/iOS mobile applications and APIs.
• Build and maintainfunctional, regression, integration, API and end-to-end automation suites.
• Validate critical workflows such asdigital lending, loan onboarding, authentication, payments and transactions, where applicable.
• Definetest strategies, test plans, automation coverage and release-quality assessments.
• Integrate automated testing intoCI/CD pipelinesand support quality gates for releases.
• Perform defect analysis and root-cause investigation, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Test applicationperformance, reliability, compatibility and security-sensitive workflows.
• Support production validation, regression testing and release sign-off.
• Continuously improvetest coverage, automation stability, execution time and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

Working Model

The role reports to theEngineering Managerand is part of a lean, cross-functional mobile engineering team. The role requires close collaboration acrossEngineering, QA, DevOps, UI/UX and Productteams.
