Job summary

Wits Innovation Lab in Mohali is seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer focused on Web Automation testing. You will implement automated tests using Selenium with Java and perform API testing with Postman, Rest Assured, and Playwright.

Strong scripting, debugging, and reporting skills are essential. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to test plans, and maintain bug trackers (Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience.
• 3+ years of working experience in Software Testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Web Automation testing using Selenium with Java.
• 3 Year experience in API Testing using Postman.
• Bonus points if experience in API Automation Testing using Rest Assured & Playwright.
• Experience in Database Testing.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills.
• SDLC and Agile methodology knowledge.
• Strong testing aptitude with a clear understanding of testing concepts.
• Ability to manage QA responsibility independently.
• Knowledge about manual testing tools and techniques.
• Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs.
• Good analytical and logical skills.
• Experience monitoring product development and usage to improve product quality.

Responsibilities
