Job summary

Manifest is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain reliable automated testing for our cloud and infrastructure intelligence platform. You will test web applications, APIs, integrations, and multi-tenant environments.

The role emphasizes Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and CI/CD integration with GitHub Actions. Responsibilities include developing UI and API tests, building reusable automation components, and reducing flaky tests across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes

Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript for UI and API tests.
• Strong test design, debugging, and synchronization skills.
• Experience with authentication testing and multi-environment testing.

Job description

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain reliable automated testing for our cloud and infrastructure intelligence platform. You will test web applications, APIs, integrations, and multi-tenant environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop UI and API tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Maintain smoke, regression, integration, and end-to-end suites.
• Build reusable page objects, fixtures, API clients, and test utilities.
• Integrate tests with GitHub Actions and release pipelines.
• Diagnose failures using logs, traces, screenshots, videos, and network data.
• Maintain Allure reports and Slack notifications.
• Reduce flaky tests and improve test isolation.
• Validate authentication, MFA, permissions, and tenant isolation.
• Test integrations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Review AI-generated tests and migrate legacy Cypress automation.

Required skills:

• TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Playwright.
• UI and REST API automation experience.
• Git, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD knowledge.
• Strong understanding of test design, debugging, and synchronisation.
• Experience with authentication and multi-environment testing.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred skills:

• Allure, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Cypress-to-Playwright migration.
• k6 or other performance-testing tools.
• Security, accessibility, and AI-assisted testing experience.
