Job summary

Webito Infotech is seeking a QA Analyst with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing to design and execute test plans, develop automation scripts, and perform API testing. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC to ensure high-quality software products and services.

The role emphasizes functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing, as well as maintaining automation frameworks and contributing to QA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Software Testing.
• Proven hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Coordinate with developers to verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Participate in sprint rituals and QA metrics collection.
• Conduct API testing using Postman/Swagger/SoapUI.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Analyst with hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing and executing test cases, developing and maintaining automation scripts, performing API testing, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and services.

The candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

Note: Immediate Joiners are Preferred.

Manual Testing

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, UAT, Re-testing, and Exploratory Testing.
• Validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings.

Automation Testing

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts.
• Automate regression and repetitive test scenarios.
• Improve automation test coverage and optimize execution time.
• Maintain automation frameworks and ensure script reliability.

API Testing

• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Validate response codes, response time, request/response payloads, JSON/XML data, and business logic.
• Verify REST API functionality and integration points.

Database Testing

• Write SQL queries for backend data validation.
• Validate database integrity and data consistency.
• Verify data migration and data synchronization activities.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure software quality throughout the SDLC.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, test reports, and QA metrics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing .
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Trello.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, UAT, and Performance testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Software Testing.
• Proven hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing .
• Experience testing web-based applications.
• Basic knowledge of mobile application testing is an added advantage.
