Job summary

AppGlide is seeking a Python Test Automation Engineer to join the solutions engineering team. You will deploy solutions across global deployments, collaborating with engineering and integration teams to ensure high-quality, scalable testing of our analytics platform for networks, applications and security workflows.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in Python testing, PyTest, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with a solid understanding of the SDLC and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT required.
• 1+ years experience in Python testing or automation.
• Experience with PyTest framework.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Be the test expert on the customer’s analytics solution for networks, apps and security workflows.
• Take a hands-on role in testing/automation to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and integration teams on deployments.

We are looking for a Python Test Automation Engineer to join our customer’s solutions engineering team. You will be working closely with customer to deploy solutions across global customerdeployments.

Our client is an industry leading AIOps platform designed to provide instant, real-time actionable insights for managing multi-domain network and application infrastructures. By bringing together multiple sources of data into one easy to use platform, IT teams can troubleshoot network issues faster, avoid downtime, reduce MTTR and improve efficiency.

Skills

• 1+ years experience in user deployment testing
• 1+ years experience in Python/ PyTest framework
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science / Information Technology
• Experience in Python is a plus
• Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Understand how QA fits into the System Development Lifecycle.
• Can create and maintain documentation/work associated with QA work, as an example but not limited to – Bugs, Tasks, feature files, and Basic Scripts.
• Has a solid understanding and can demonstrate through daily tasks how the architecture, design, and data flow of the application they support for purposes of effective script design.
• Can read, develop, debug, and maintain simple to advanced automation test scripts Independently
• Can troubleshoot the application and/or Automation to resolve failed script situations using the appropriate process.

Responsibilities

• Be a test expert on customer’s operational analytics solution for networks, applications & security workflows;
• Take a hands-on role in the testing/automation of product to meet customer requirements;
• Collaborate with engineering team and integration teams on deployments
• Own design, development & test execution plans for POC, and lead to completion of deployment;
• Improve the product features and quality through enhancement proposals and customer reviews.
