Job summary

NexTurn in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a senior backend engineer to lead design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. You will design Python-based backend services and microservices, build RESTful APIs, and drive distributed systems across cloud deployments.

The role requires mentoring engineers, performing code reviews, and guiding CI/CD, monitoring, and production support in collaboration with product, QA, DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and backend microservices.
• Proven leadership with mentoring and code reviews.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Strong understanding and implementation experience of Microservices Architecture.
• Strong experience in REST API development and integration.
• Good hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ or other messaging platforms.
• Experience with Redis / MongoDB / NoSQL.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Automated testing using PyTest.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies is an added advantage.
