Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a highly experienced Python Lead/Architect to define technical architecture and lead development of enterprise-grade Python applications. You will work with Django, Flask, FastAPI, and cloud-native tech to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, solution architecture, leadership, and AI-powered business solutions, with a focus on modern web architectures and collaboration across cross-functional teams in Pune.

Qualifications

• 12 to 17 years of software development experience with extensive expertise in Python application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python frameworks including Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise applications and solution architectures.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Experience developing event-driven and asynchronous applications.
• Hands-on expertise with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Celery, and messaging platforms.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger-based services.
• Strong backend development expertise including API design, business logic implementation, and integration services.
• Experience with React.js and modern frontend application development.
• Expertise in database design, optimization, and development using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, or equivalent databases.

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments.
