SRS Consulting Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our backend team. You will build scalable, API-driven applications using Python frameworks and work across the stack from database design to deployment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement secure coding practices, and optimize performance in a fast-paced Agile environment. Immediate joiners preferred; 5 days WFO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Python fundamentals, OOP, data structures and exception handling.
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong experience in REST API development and integration.
• Good understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, and code optimization.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and multiprocessing.
• Knowledge of application security, logging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud environments.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsabilités

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Python programming, backend development, API development, and database management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications using Python frameworks and modern development practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Design, implement, and optimize database queries using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services with existing applications.
• Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, and application security.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, production issues, and technical defects.
• Write unit tests and integration tests using PyTest, unittest, or equivalent frameworks.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, effort estimation, and sprint planning.
• Monitor application performance and ensure reliability, scalability, and code quality.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Python fundamentals, OOP concepts, data structures, and exception handling.
• Hands-on experience with at least one Python framework: Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong experience in REST API development and integration.
• Good understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.

• Exposure to data processing, AI/ML integration, or Generative AI applications.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
