Job summary

Capgemini in Bengaluru is seeking a lead software engineer with 6+ years of Python expertise to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications. You will mentor development teams, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables across the stack.

You will design RESTful APIs, drive cloud adoption, and oversee CI/CD pipelines, production support, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with strong Python expertise and a Lead role.
• Hands‑on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and Microservices/API development.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Your Role

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications using Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI, and Microservices architecture.

• Hands‑on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI, along with Microservices and API development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
