Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced engineer for advanced automation and full-stack Java development. You will contribute to architecture reviews, design scalable automation across multi-cloud environments, and guide teams in implementing robust CI/CD pipelines.

The role demands OpenShift proficiency and hands-on scripting with Terraform, Ansible, and related tools. The ideal candidate will stay ahead of AI-driven automation trends, support ITSM practices, and drive technical thought leadership

Qualifications

• Strong experience in full-stack Java development with OO design and modern frameworks.
• Experience in microservices, container orchestration, big data analytics or AI/ML.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including shell, Python, Terraform and Ansible.
• Solid cloud concepts knowledge (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and OpenShift expertise.
• OpenShift certification or equivalent automation platform credentials.
• Hands-on with CI/CD using Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef/Puppet.
• Ability to design automation and multi-cloud implementation strategies.
• Awareness of AI-driven automation trends and ITSM fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Automate design, development, implementation, and operation improvement in multi-cloud environments.
• Provide technology consulting during architecture design and scoping of development efforts.
• Guide developers and lead developers in automation initiatives.

• Strong experience in Full stack Java development with a strong background in 3 or more of the following areas - Object Oriented programming and design patterns, Spring / MVC Framework / SPA, PostgreSQL, JQuery / HTML5 / Angular,
• Experience in supporting 2 or more of this area: micro services, container orchestration platform, Big Data analytics, AI / ML
• Experience in 2 or more of the following scripting languages – shell / python / Terraform / Ansible / Java script / AWK
• Strong understanding in of Cloud & Concepts like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS,
• OpenShift Certification
• Automation platform customization and implementation experience
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends in AI driven automation
• Good understanding of IT Service Management
• Knowledge about CI and CD using GIT, Jenkins, Ansible Cheff / Puppet .etc
• Responsible for automation design, development, implementation, operation improvement and debug in multi cloud environments
• Technology consultation during the Architecture design / review and assist in defining scope and sizing of Development and implementation work
