Job summary

Zoho is hiring for a senior DevOps engineer to design, operate and optimize enterprise infrastructure across private cloud and hybrid environments.

You will develop with Go, Python and Ansible, build Kubernetes/OpenShift operators, and implement IaC while mentoring teams on GitOps and container-native practices.

The role requires 6+ years in IT with 4+ years in development, and a preference for experience with data platforms, IAM and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift internals.
• Experience with IaC and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and maintain enterprise servers across hybrid/cloud environments.
• Research, design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure solutions (data warehouses, IAM, containerization, scaling).
• Configure secure virtualized environments (VMs, networks, SAN/HDFS/SSD storage).
• Engineer monitoring solutions to ensure efficiency and security.
• Monitor CPU, memory, storage, and network traffic for optimization and cost control.
• Resolve bottlenecks and advise architecture teams on capacity planning.
• Architect and support on‑prem OCP platform and private cloud implementation.
• Develop custom Kubernetes/OpenShift operators, APIs, and developer tooling.
• Write advanced automation & IaC using Go, Python, Ansible.
• Build observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, custom K8s operators).
• Integrate AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI) into private cloud workflows.
• Mentor developers on coding standards, GitOps workflows, and container‑native design.
