Job summary

Virtusa in Chennai and Pune is seeking a Python engineer with Gen AI experience to design and deploy scalable enterprise-grade AI solutions. The role requires proficiency in Python and at least two other languages, with strong API and data tooling skills.

You will work across SQL/Pandas data tasks, REST/WebSocket APIs, and frontend UI aspects, using LangChain and MLFlow among other GenAI frameworks. Hybrid or on-site arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and at least two programming languages.
• Strong understanding of GenAI, LLMs, transformers, vector stores.
• Experience deploying enterprise-grade, scalable AI solutions.
• Hands-on with GenAI frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, MLFlow, Spring AI/Boot, Flask.
• Data analysis with SQL and Pandas.

• Programming Fluency Proficiency in at least two programming languages.
• Strong preference for Python, with significant experience in JavaScript/Typescript and Golang being highly valued.
• Scalable Solutions Demonstrated deep hands-on experience in engineering and deploying enterprise-grade solutions that are highly scalable, resilient, and performant.
• Generative AI Expertise Strong theoretical and practical understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), transformers, agentic frameworks, vector stores, and advanced search algorithms.
• Experience with relevant GenAI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, MLFlow, Spring AI, Spring Boot, and Flask.
