Job summary

Virtusa in Chennai is seeking a Python + GenAI engineer to design and deploy scalable GenAI solutions. A strong Python background and solid AI expertise are essential.

The role spans data handling, API design, and contributing to frontend UI development, with preferred experience in LangChain, LangGraph, MLFlow, Spring AI, Spring Boot, and Flask. You will work with SQL/Pandas data analysis and databases like Postgres, Oracle, or MongoDB, and build robust REST and WebSocket APIs.

Qualifications

• Programming Fluency: proficiency in at least two programming languages.
• Strong Python preference with experience in other languages (JS/TS, Golang valued).
• Demonstrated ability to engineer scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, transformers, vector stores and advanced search.
• Experience with GenAI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, MLFlow, Spring AI/Spring Boot/Flask).
• Data analysis and manipulation using SQL and Pandas.
• Proficiency with databases such as Oracle, Postgres, or MongoDB.
• API design and implementation (REST and WebSocket); UI/ frontend development skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable GenAI solutions in production.
• Hands-on work with LLMs, transformers and vector stores.
• Implement and integrate GenAI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, MLFlow, Spring AI, Spring Boot, Flask).
• Analyze data using SQL/Pandas and manage database interactions (Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB).
• Design robust REST and WebSocket APIs; contribute to frontend UI development.
