Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced architect and full-stack engineer to define end-to-end application architecture, roadmaps, and technical specifications. You will design scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions and establish architecture governance across projects.

The role involves hands-on development using Python and modern frontend technologies, API design, and integrating frontend with backend systems. You will work with AWS/Azure/GCP and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Define end-to-end application architecture and technical roadmaps.
• Create and review HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Design scalable, secure, high-performance, and cloud-native solutions.
• Establish architecture standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Drive technology selection and architectural governance.

Development & Coding

• Provide hands‑on development using Python and modern full-stack technologies.
• Design, develop, and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive application performance improvements.
• Promote reusable components, frameworks, and development accelerators.

Full Stack Engineering

• Architect and guide frontend development using React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design backend systems using Python, Django, Flask, FastAPI, and microservices architecture.
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend, backend, databases, and third‑party systems.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API management solutions.

Cloud & DevOps

• Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Drive CI/CD adoption and automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Ensure application scalability, monitoring, logging, and operational excellence.
