Persistent Systems in Pune is seeking an experienced Strong Technical Lead – Full Stack to design, develop, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will lead architecture, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders using Python, React, AWS, and microservices.

You will drive hands-on leadership, code reviews, performance tuning, security, and agile delivery in a regulated environment, ensuring high-quality software products and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Experience leading architecture of microservices-based and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on leadership with mentoring and code reviews.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
• Experience building and securing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL.
• Healthcare/regulatory knowledge is desirable.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as Fast API, Flask, and Django.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices‑based and distributed applications.
• Hands‑on experience building, integrating, and securing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services including EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and cloud‑native application deployment.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and exposure to NoSQL database technologies.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, object‑oriented programming, testing frameworks, debugging techniques, and performance optimization.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle best practices.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and drive engineering excellence.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or other regulated environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations such as HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies, Generative AI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit‑learn is preferred.
